I was looking for an attorney to represent me in a Tenant/Landlord case for the balance of my security deposit. I was referred to the Georgia Bar Association and was given the phone number to The Clair Firm LLC. My phone call was returned in 48 hours (as promised) and I had an appointment via Zoom within a week-due to my work schedule. Attorney Clair was professional and easy to talk to and she explained the process in detail. I was really pleased with the fact that she has a payment plan option for new clients. As soon as the initial payment was made, she started working on my case. When the demand for payment letter was sent- I received the balance of my security deposit from the landlord-WE DIDN'T HAVE TO GO TO COURT and I received a portion of the money back that I had paid towards to case. I contacted the Clair Firm because of the excellent reviews they had. They were also one of a handful Lawfirm's that specialized in tenant/landlord lawsuits. The reviews were correct. I too was very satisfied with the handling of my case from beginning to end. The Clair Law Firm is comprised of women attorneys who are professional and knowledgeable. My first communication was with Diane Clair. Ms. Clair provided me with a 30 minute free consultation. It was an excellent consultation in which I discussed my complaint and she thoroughly reviewed how her law firm could help me and the litigation process. I accepted their offer to represent me and paid no money up front nor through out the process. 33% of the final settlement was the cost to hire them to represent me. Cyarra Walters followed up with the lawsuit to its end. Ms. Walters was always a phone call away with any questions and concerns I had. A portal was set up by the firm in which documents, communications and updates relating to the case could be uploaded and accessed. My lawsuit was successfully concluded about a year and half after my initial consultation to my complete satisfaction. I highly recommend these wonderful group of women at The Clair Firm in Atlanta, GA.

Last year I hired Ms. Clair because I had a management company that was just costing issue after issue all because they could not do their jobs. We ended up going to court and Ms Clair was awesome and basically got me the outcome I was looking for. Now a year later I had the same management company trying to take advantage of us and asking for ridiculous amount of money for rent. We have been in the house for 4 years the first 2 years not one problem they change Managment and everything just goes down hill from there. Again, because they are a big company and have high priced lawyers in retainer they think they can do what ever they want too. Well again we ended up back in court this past week and it seemed they were not going to back down in their claims. Ms Clair stood her ground she argued for exactly what I wanted and in the end I got what I wanted. I consider that a huge win! Ms Clair was ready to argue my case in front of the judge but thankfully we did not have to do that and she was able to resolve this matter to my likings. So, that is twice she has represented me with both outcomes to my satisfaction. I highly recommend Ms Clair if you are having issues with landlords or management companies. Her staff is very friendly and very professional and you will not be sorry for having her represent in for what ever your issues are. If I could give her 10 stars I would!

Had a great consultation today with Shamika Clair. I remember when she became a lawyer. I was so excited for her. She was always such a mature quiet child in church. When my husband died without a will, I knew I would need help administrating his estate because I had attended one of her free workshops. I can’t say enough about the level of care, professionalism, and dedication my attorney has shown throughout my case. My experience with The Clair Firm was overall a good one. Our case itself took a long time to resolve, but that was largely outside of the firm’s control. Whenever they received updates about the case, they made sure we received those updates as well, which I appreciated. While the case moved slowly for a while, once we reached the deposition stage, Attorney Clair was very knowledgeable and clearly advocated for what we wanted. At the same time, she did a good job of keeping us grounded in what outcomes were actually realistic based on the details of our case. I respected that honesty and professionalism. During the time the firm was working on our case, there was some staff turnover. That’s fairly common in today’s job market, but it’s something to keep in mind. There were a few times when I thought I might be getting ignored because I emailed someone and didn’t hear back, only to later find out that person was no longer with the firm. Once I realized that, it made more sense, and communication continued through other staff. Overall, my experience with The Clair Firm was positive. If I needed legal representation again in the future, I would consider working with them again.
